"uhh, sorry. I've just never really danced before." Sora said laughing. Clearly a little nervous. He just didn't want to be a fool. His eyes locked with hers and began to dance a bit better. He stopped stepping on her feet. And he only stumbled a couple times; but each time he stumbled he managed to catch himself. He smiled as the two gazed at one another.
The song came to an end and so did their waltz. "I suppose we should get going." Sora said, his eyes still locked on Kairi's. Though his feet were a lot more stationary. His body wasn't moving. He could hear his heart beating loudly. It felt to him like it was going to jump out of his chest.
He gulped. The wind blew steadily as the band in the distance could be heard dissembling their equipment . There was indead beads of sweat now on his brow as the sun slowly sank behind the horizon.

" I guess so....."
Smiling as she placed her hands behind her back, she slowly began walking towards the side walk. Looking back over her shoulder, Kairi stared at Sora as she nodded her head towards the path as an indication to come with her. It had been an interesting date. Though she wasn't sure what else to make out of it. Still holding the flower in her hand, she wondered if there was something else that Sora had wanted to say to her that evening?
Maybe it can wait.....

Sora walked to Kairi's side and his hand suddenly jetted out attempting to take Kairi's hand in his own. regardless if she took his hand or not he would smile. Though if she did take it, he would give her a reassuring squeeze. He couldn't say it, Not those 3 words... no not yet. Some things just needed to wait.
For a change of pace Sora wasn't running his mouth talking constantly. He was just humming the song from before as they walked the dirt of the path before them crunching underneath their feet. The dirt was oddly loose, perhaps it had rained on this side of the island recently. His heart was still beating ridiculously. If he was in the Timeless river it'd probably be flying out of his chest constantly. He chuckled at the concept.
This though short had been amazing. It was a shame it would all get messed up really quick, not that Sora knew that yet.

Feeling the light touch of Sora's hand close to her own, Kairi smiled softly before gently taking it into her own. It was always cute to see Sora act less like a hero and more like himself. For the most part, he had to try and be brave and hold himself tall. While she was certain that didn't exactly always go well, she knew that he tried. Always the knight, stead fast and true to his cause. Though where would his cause take him now? If she was to go with him, what would she be able to do to help?
Maybe it didn't matter, so long as she was there with him. With him and Riku, there was nothing that they couldn't do as long as they worked together. No task was too great or too dangerous, as long as they never forgot that they each were there for one another.
Still moving down the path towards the village, Kairi finally looked up towards Sora as she then re-focused her gaze towards the stars.
"You know....I've been thinking a lot about being a princess.....and I wanted to ask you something.....What if I did go to Radiant Gardens....Do you think....I'll ever be able to come back here? Even for a little while?"

Sora's heart first sank. There was no way around it. He didn't like the idea of him and Kairi literally living worlds apart. It just bothered him. He wanted to live here. This was her home this was- but no it wasn't. She wasn't from here as much as he tried to fool himself into thinking she was.
She does have memories in her heart of living in Radiant Garden. He saw those in the library all those years ago. If she needs to to in her heart go back, of course he shouldn't stand in her way there's no way he could rightfully do so, especially if how he thinks he feels is correct...
She was being a little confusing though... why if she has a way to go to her home world would she not be able to come back and visit. "Well if you have a way to travel there... you should just as easily have a way to travel here, right?" Sora as asked, as usual, completely missing the point.

"That's not what I........."
Sighing as she looked towards the ground, Kairi then smiled as she looked back at the keybearer and nodded in agreement.
"You're right....I didn't think about that...."
How was she going to say that it would be impossible for her to come back here? Even with a way to get here, she wouldn't be able to just leave whenever she wanted. Kairi was the solo princess of her world. There was no one else to take over for her if she were absent, so she couldn't leave. In fact, it might be the last time she ever saw Destiny Islands. Yet how would she say that to Sora?
Seeing her house in the distance, she decided not to ruin this moment with her fears. After all, there were other things she wanted to talk about.
"So how exactly do you plan to catch up on all the homework you have to do? I don't think you can use the saving the worlds excuse to get out of it?"

"So how exactly do you plan to catch up on all the homework you have to do? I don't think you can use the saving the worlds excuse to get out of it?" [/color]
Sora thought for a moment and simply shrugged. "Well worse case scenario I can just pay Selphie to do some of it...." he trailed off sighing. It didn't seem fair. Having worked so hard, to save this world, all the worlds even and now he had to come back here and do trigonometry. Where were the rewards? Where were the pleasures? He sighed, time would tell.
"Gee, sometimes it just doesn't seem fair Kairi" he complained. "I mean. Being the hero. Saving this and all the other worlds and I don't even get to ask to have some homework excused." he sighed again. This was life and he could only choose to live it.

Giggling lightly, she held her hand close to her lips as she shook her head. That would be a good idea, if Selphie actually went along with it. From what she had heard, the girl was doing Tidus and Wakka's work already. Would she really take on Sora's too?
"I'll help you with it...That way you don't have to pay 30 dollars to Selphie...."
As her house drew closer, Kairi suddenly stopped as she looked over her shoulder for a moment. She wasn't sure why, but a cold chill seem to climb up her neck. It was similar to the feeling she had that night. When the heartless had first come to the island, it had felt the exact same way. But....it wasn't possible...was it?

"Oh I don't want to bother you with it Kairi, besides. I might not do it at all. Actually. What if we left. Right now. Just you and I? Went and Explored the worlds. Just the two of us?" Sora asked suddenly. It was sporadic, and as sporadic things go, unexpected. Honestly Sora didn't expect to say those things either. They just came out, but he knew he had to.
"I know it sounds crazy. But I think I'm not supposed to stay here. As a Key blade wielder I think I'm supposed to be constantly wandering, And I think you need to be taken home, but I want to show you the worlds first. Let you see everything with your own eyes. Not mine." He continued. He was worried he sounded crazy. He knew though this was something that had to be done, it just had to.

Sora choice to pretty much neglect his studies hadn't surprised her as much as she thought it would. After all, she recalled him not that interested in them before everything that happened. But still, when he suggested they just leave, Kairi had found herself in complete shock. It was so sudden, and yet she did find herself somewhat interested. When had she every gotten to see the worlds outside of Destiny Islands? The only time she had ,it was for a brief moment and then she was kidnapped.
"Sora....are you serious?"
Kairi couldn't help but ask this. It just seemed like too fantastic of an idea to really take seriously. What about school, Riku, and everyone else? Her father would have a fit, not to mention a possible panic attack.
As she just stared at the boy for that moment, her senses went off once again. Something was really wrong, and it was sending a number of chills down her back.

Yes I'm serious. Sora retorted his smile widening. This was crazy. That's why he was serious. He had had enough of the boringness of this island. Everything he once found interesting was now bland and boring in comparison. It was true what they say. you don't truly appreciate something until its gone. He was serious though.
I can't wait any longer. I'm tired of this place. My heart wants to wander the worlds. I can't stay here anymore. This isn't my home any more. I can't bear to leave you behind though Kairi. He had a slight pleading tone in his voice. He had his fists clenched and pressed against his chest. His legs bent a little bit.
He was being serious. This was an oddity in itself. And begging... alright that one was pretty common. But serious. That was something he reserved for special occasions . It was clear that this was one. It was a moment already close to his heart. He just knew not if it was bad or good in reason yet.
Please say yes Kairi. Please. I've already decided I'm going either way. I want it to be... no I need it to be with you. So please say yes. I love you. Even if I can't say it yet. A pleading look was in his eye as he gazed at the pretty red headed girl. He smiled weakly though. seeing her made him smile. even when he was nervous.

"Sora.........."
Kairi wanted to say yes. Everything her wanted to just jump and say she would follow him anywhere. But it wasn't that simple. While it may not have been home for him, it was to her. This was the place that had taken her in, her family was here...so where her friends. To just leave was really out there in crazy. But, she might never see him again if she didn't go. What would happen then?
"Sora I......"
The sensation then hit her a third time. This time it was alot stronger as she looked away from the boy and stared towards the islands. There was no ignoring it....something was there.
"Something's wrong......"

Sora's eyes darted in the same direction Kairi's eyes darted to. He felt something, something big. A presence he didn't like. "Never a dull moment, huh Kairi?" Sora asked clenching his first. He took a step away, going closer to the edge of the cliff of the winding road. Extending his arm he summoned the Keyblade to his hand, the classic kingdom key keychain on it.
"I'm going to go check out what's going on over there, you go home Kairi, when you get home, call Riku and tell him to meet me on the island we used to play on, I don't think whatever is going on I'm going to be able to handle on my own... man I wish Donald and Goofy were here...." Sora said, the last bit more of a lamentation than anything else. He gulped a little bit nervous. Sure he had been sparring with Riku, but he hadn't been in a real battle for some time, and it felt like he was going to be in one now.
